The Seongam Museum of Art, which opened in 2011, is an art museum consisting of exhibition rooms from the first floor to the third floor, displaying antique items containing statues of ancestors. It is also a place where citizens can share their enjoyment of antique arts as well as anthem lovers.

Yeojin Museum of Buddhist Arts is a place where people can appreciate both the traditional and modern Buddhist art of Korea. The museum offers not only a demonstration of Buddhist arts but also a place of rest in the sculpture park that was established in the museum compound.

The museum located in the east of the Municipal Museum of Arts was built to commemorate the life and work of the artist Goam Lee Ungno (1904–1989), a world renowned artist born in Daejeon. He used to be famous in France. It was designed by the French architect Laurent Beaudouin. It consists of one floor under the ground and two stories above the ground with four exhibition halls.

The Municipal Museum of Arts is a two-story building comprised of an exhibition hall and a practice room. There is a fountain and a lawn outside. In the central hall of the museum, the “Fractal Turtle Ship” of Namjune Paik (1932–2006), a pivotal artist in the history of video art, is on display.
